Carol Schenck, LCSW

Therapy is a great gift to yourself. The connection provided in a safe, therapeutic relationship is powerful. I encourage self-exploration to find and heal wounds that are blocking one’s own self-love and connection to the authentic self that feels true and right. I provide a gentle, accepting presence to join you on your journey toward increased life satisfaction and goal attainment. My specialty is working with children and families who have challenges with ADHD/ADD, trauma, anxiety, teen conflict, depression, anger and grief, or basic life transitions.

I have been an LCSW in community mental health. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Rollins College and a Master’s degree in Social Work from The Catholic University of America. I employ a strength-based approach with an emphasis on cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness interventions. My commitment to you is to provide an evidence-based treatment for you to use in your daily life. Let’s make this happen for you.
